A series of high-precision, push-pull adapter plug/sockets are intended for high-volume production test and measurement of 7-16 coaxial connectors and other sizes. The connectors permit simple inserting or withdrawal of the connector under test, avoiding time consuming manual affixing and loosening of coupling rings. The 7-16 adapter plug type N socket has a life exceeding 10,000 cycles and affixing/loosening force as low as 30N. Reflection values are below 1% throughout the 2-GHz frequency range.
