Well-suited for applications that require low pressure ranges, Ares Series pressure transducers measure the clean, dry air common to medical applications, i.e., breath and neonatal monitors, flow monitoring and HVAC applications. The unit's barb-type mechanical ports mate with standard 1/8" or 1/4" polyurethane tubing. The self-locking pins are built into the housing and secure the units to PCBs. The transducers have piezo-resistive silicon sensors and a proprietary ASIC designed to compensate and normalize the parameters that require compensation in the sensor.
