The firm's new line of Metal Oxide Varistors (MOVs) transient voltage surge suppressors are offered in seven model sizes, from 5 mm to 20 mm in diameter. The devices feature a VM(AC)RMS voltage range from 10V to 1000V. Energy absorption capabilities are said to be up to 560 joules.
The radial devices are said to be well suited for operating continuously across the line (ac) for protecting expensive, sensitive electronic components. Typical pricing for the MOVs is set at $0.05 each/1000 for the 5-mm size and at $0.30 each in the same quantity for the 20-mm size. Delivery is stock to eight weeks depending on model ordered.
