The OptoTEC series thermoelectrics are designed for cooling and stabilizing laser diodes, IR detectors, charge-coupled devices (CCDs), and other electro-optic systems. The line consists of single-stage modules with temperature capabilities up to 226°C and both single- and multi-stage modules.
A single-stage cooler can achieve temperature differences approaching 70°C, while a three-stage cooler can achieve up to 110°C. The devices also include wire bonding posts, aluminum nitride ceramic plates, as well as custom packaging to meet a variety of requirements.
