Four New Materials Expand Low Closure Force EMI Gasket Family

Four new material versions of the company's SOFT-SHIELD 4000 Series EMI gaskets have been introduced. The expanded line of gaskets now provides UL 94V-O or UL 94 HB flammability-rated compositions and three grades of softness for the foam core. The SOFT-SHIELD 4000 materials are low closure force EMI gaskets that provide high levels of shielding and grounding in commercial electronics. Prices start at $0.04 per square inch.
