Thanks to a tightly controlled voltage span of 0.5V to 2.5V, the Model M6322 voltage-controlled crystal oscillator is said to simplify 3.3V equipment designs by providing ±100 ppm frequency capture without needing rail-to-rail parts. The device, which operates in an extended industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, provides protection against 10% supply voltage dips by operating down to 3V.
The device develops a 44.736 MHz center frequency with the control voltage at 1.5V. Maximum pull is ±100 ppm and minimum pull ±200 ppm, which ensures better than 2:1 linearity of the frequency-voltage characteristic. The device is available for center frequencies from 3 MHz to 50 MHz. Price ranges from $14.50 to $24.50 each in OEM quantities.
