Designed for use with the company's CPU processor and application modules, the cPCI-2000 CompactPCI chassis series comes in a variety of user selectable configurations. These include a 6.4" LCD with a color touch-screen option, ATX or redundant hot swappable power supplies, and front or rear I/O connections.
All of the 4U chassis in the series come with an I/O panel, 32- or 64-bit PCI bus connections, and two 50-CFM fans and air filters. Integrated CD-ROMs are also available as an option. Designed for rugged environments, the chassis are said to be ideal for such applications as industrial automation and control, image processing and multimedia, medical, datacomm and telecomm, and military. Prices for a complete system starts at $3,500.
