Developed for use in sorting applications where fast operation and zero power dissipation is critical, the model RSA13/5 rotary solenoid features a permanent magnet that allows self-holding bi-stable operation with zero power consumption in either latched position. Installation of the device can be achieved with a single fastener. Features include an operation time of 15 ms with a 30g/cm2 load at 24 Vdc, ball bearings surfaces on all moving parts, a low noise design using built-in stops to reduce shock and noise, and a 20° rotation. Pricing starts at $21 each/1000 and the solenoid is available in standard and custom configurations.
