Designed to protect sensitive control equipment, the MAINS-PLUGTRAB DIN-rail mountable, 120V AC equipment power supply protector provides over-voltage protection from electrical transients caused by lightning, switching operations, utility actions, and de-energized inductive loads. The component consists of two pieces: a hard-wired base and a removable plug. The feed through terminal-block base accepts wire sizes from #24 to 12 AWG and the metal mounting foot allows connection to the rail while providing a short path to ground for surge current.
