The Mini-Plane Rail linear guide system is claimed to be the industry's first miniature monorail to incorporate the self-lubricating bearing materials FrelonGOLD and FrelonJ. They are available in two grades: precision and commercial. The commercial grade guides use FrelonGOLD bearings and the carriage runs on a RC70 ceramic-coated aluminum rail with a maximum running clearance of 0.0005". The commercial grade guides are made of a clear anodized aluminum rail and carriage and use FrelonJ bearings. These have a maximum running clearance ranging from 0.0015" to 0.0035".
