The ProAir line of heat exchangers features a modified heat pipe core. According to the company, this core provides efficient heat exchange that prevents excessive heat rise inside the cabinet/enclosure. A closed-loop design ensures that unclean, ambient air circulates separately from the clean enclosure air. Three models are available in 115V or 230V and 50/60 Hz configurations. Efficiencies of these units range from 4 W/ûF to 14 W/ûF and operate in temperatures up to 155ûF. The three models measure as follows: ProAir XR20-4 and XR20-6 are 20"H x 7.50"W x 3"D; and ProAir XR 29-3 is 29.50"H x 10"W x 3.13"D. The heat exchangers can be mounted to any internal or external surface of the enclosure. APW THERMAL MANAGEMENT, Waukesha, WI. (763) 323-8200.
