The new 8800 series twin rocker switches feature a bezel size of 21 mm x 15 mm and can snap into a panel cutout of only 19.8 mm x 13.5 mm, yet each model in the series contains two independent, single-pole on/off switches with 3 mm contact gaps. A textured rocker and body finish enhances front-panel styling, and an optional transparent snap-on dust- and splash-proof cover protects to IP65. The 8800 series has full international approvals and has ENEC ratings of 10(6)A 250 Vac T100 (10,000 operations) and 6(2)A 250 Vac T100 (50,000 operations), and UL/CSA ratings of 15A 250 Vac and 125 Vac 1/2 hp. The switches also have an inrush tolerance of 50A to EN60065:1998 and UL6500:09:1998. A choice of silver-plated 4.8 mm fast-on or solder terminals is also available.
