With an outer diameter of 110 mm and a length of just 22 mm, the CSD Series of ultra-flat harmonic drive gearing components offer a rated torque of 850 in.-lb. and 3,175 in.-lb. maximum. The components also boast of a zero backlash, a positional accuracy of 1 arc-minute, and a repeatability of ±5 arc-seconds. The CSD Series is available in gear ratios of 50:1, 100:1 and 160:1. The components use a patented "S" tooth profile design that allows the surrounding enclosure to be made compact for additional size and weight savings. The Size 32 gearing components function in applications such as robotics, factory automation and aerospace. HARMONIC DRIVE SYSTEMS INC., Hauppauge, NY. (631) 231-6630.
