A new line of ultra-miniature digital oscillators suits a wide range of applications including telecommunications, wireless, networking, cellular, remote meter reading, PLLs, and other systems requiring a stable frequency in a space efficient SMD configuration over extended temperature. The DT/DVT4000 is housed in a hermetically sealed ceramic package measuring 5.0 mm x 3.2 mm. Touted as the smallest digital TCXO/VCTCXO ever produced, the product has a seated height of just 2.5 mm. Frequency ranges from 2 MHz to 25 MHz, and frequency stability is ±1.0 ppm over an operating temperature range of –40°C to +85°C. The DT/DVT4000 is compatible with IR reflow and standard automatic pick-and-place equipment. Output of the DT/DVT4000 is a clipped sine wave. An integral voltage control feature permits phase locking to a stable reference. For more information and pricing, contact Rich Strysik, TELLURIAN TECHNOLOGIES INC., Rolling Meadows, IL.
