Described as the industry’s only non-urethane soft foam core material that provides high levels of shielding and long-term physical stability, the Soft-Shield 7000 EMI gaskets consist of a highly conductive, plated cloth wrapper, customized polymeric foam core, and a high-temperature, pressure-sensitive adhesive. The gaskets provide more than 90 dB of EMI attenuation from 20 MHz to 10 GHz and are UL 94V-0 flammability rated. They maintain physical and mechanical integrity in high operating temperatures for a service life exceeding 10 years. Also, the conductive fabric-over-foam EMI gaskets demonstrate minimum compression set at elevated temperatures (+125ºC) over long operating periods and have no performance degradation after 10,000 compression cycles. The gaskets come in standard length and cut-to-length strips in a variety of cross sections and are priced at $1 per foot in standard cross sections. CHOMERICS, Woburn, MA. (781) 939-4486.
