Promising ease of installation in industrial applications, the M85 Thin-Line rotary sensors employ the company's Wide-Gap and Edge-Guard sensor technologies. Wide-Gap technology eliminates the need for extensive alignment procedures while providing a 57% larger gap between sensor and rotor and a 50% increase in air gap tolerance compared to similar sensors. Edge-Guard technology protects the sensor's elements from contact with the rotor and environmental contamination. In terms of reliability, the sensors have no bearings, couplings, or other parts that could be subject to wear. Other features include a narrow profile of 30 mm.
