Offered as general-purpose, piezoelectric force sensors, the 208C ICP series sensors have a measurement range from 0.0001 lb. to 5,000 lb. They feature an all-welded hermetic design with pre-loaded quartz disks that allow operation in compression, tension, or impact modes. Their solid-state construction promises a linear and repeatable output. Other features include a built-in amplifier and curved impact caps to eliminate edge loading and evenly distribute impact forces over the sensing surface. Charge output sensors are also available for high-temperature environments. PCB PIEZOTRONICS INC., Depew, NY. (888) 684-0004.
