Suitable for use in ac power control applications in appliances, lamps, computers and a slew of other electronic products, the R5 two-position DPDT illuminated rocker switches are rated 20A at 125 Vac and 15A at 250 Vac, with an initial contact resistance of 0.2 ohms. And the rockers's mechanical life is said to be greater than 30,000 cycles. The switches also come in non-illuminated, three-position DPDT models rated 15A at 125 Vac and 10A at 250 Vac. Momentary two- and three-position non-illuminated rockers are also available. Contact surfaces are coin silver with silver-plating for low resistance and durability. Terminals are silver-plated brass for easy soldering and assembly. The R5 rocker switches snap-mount in a 30.6 mm x 22.3 mm hole on panels up to 3 mm thick. Illumination can be provided by neon or incandescent yellow, green or red bulbs. E-SWITCH, Brooklyn Park, MN. (763) 504-3525.
