Designed for high definition multimedia interface (HDMI) applications, the DC1 series connectors meet HDMI specs for handling high bandwidth, uncompressed video, and multi-channel digital signals in one cable. The 19-pin receptacles include both through-hole and surface-mount connectors, with or without a flange for chassis mounting. Cable assemblies are available in standard lengths of 2m and 3m. Cables come in both HDMI-to-HDMI for true digital connectivity and HDMI-to-DVI configurations to accommodate equipment still using DVI. Unlike comparable I/O components, the DC1 series connector sits flush within the unit and has springs on the side and bottom for grounding and mating retention. Contacts are gold plated and the connector is fully shielded for ESD protection. Through-hole type connectors with flange are priced at $4.30 each/100. JAE ELECTRONICS INC., Irvine, CA.
