To accommodate legacy OEM applications, a standard 0.812" diameter AC-LVDT has been added to the company's PRH 812 series linear position sensors. It is available in full-scale measurement ranges from +1.25 mm to +250 mm and exhibits a 1.6-mm core-to-bore radial clearance with the standard core supplied. The sensor operates from a nominal input voltage of 3VRMS and is said to produce low hysteresis with errors of less than 0.01% of the full-scale output. Other features include a non-linearity of less than +0.25% of FRO and an operating temperature range from –55°C to +150°C. Target applications include materials testing, valve-position sensing, hydraulic-cylinder positioning, robotics, and automated assembly.
