The new Low Current Sine Wave Oscillator series attains –150 dBc/Hz noise floor while consuming just 8 mA typical and 15 mA maximum current at 3.3V. Output level is 0 dBm minimum into 50Ω, and harmonics are less than -20 dBc. According to the company, the oscillators have no sub-harmonics due to the use of inverted mesa technology. The oscillators come in both 3.3V and 5V models, and in VCXO (CVXO-083/085) and Clock versions (CCO-083/085). Both are packaged using an industrial standard 14-pin DIP package. The oscillators generate frequencies between 10 MHz and 330 MHz. Extended temperature operating range is –40°C to +85°C. Pricing starts at $20 each in volume. CRYSTEK CRYSTALS CORP., Fort Myers, FL.
