A new ceramic resonator oscillator has been launched as a lower cost alternative to SAW oscillators for use in wireless applications. The I1041 tunable oscillator covers a frequency range of 600 to 6,000 MHz in bands. It also boasts improved phase-noise performance compared to SAW oscillators.
