A new die-cast aluminum enclosure has been designed with two external flanges for easy mounting to walls, panels and similar surfaces. The Alutek enclosure is suited for electronic monitoring devices, switching units, RF equipment, and system nodes. External flanges are cast into the bottom part during manufacture and include two screw ports for easy mounting in situ. Additional screw ports can be drilled if required. Due to aluminum construction, good levels of RFI/EMI shielding are standard. Lids have up to six screw ports and a raised lip for good electrical contact with the bottom part. Standard Alutek enclosures are supplied unpainted; however, painted versions can be supplied on demand. External dimensions come in 10 sizes ranging from 4.88" x 1.38" x 1.16" to 9.92" x 5.74" x 2.16". Guides are pre-cast into the bottom parts for mounting PCBs or partitions. Pricing starts at $23 each. TEKO ENCLOSURES INC., Bridgeville, PA. (800) 965-9872.
