Ogling power-steering systems, the company's MagneTorque-compliant, non-contact torque sensor's arsenal of features includes a unique programming feature that allows users to adjust offset, gain, and temperature compensation. Dependant on Hall effect technology, the sensor does not rely on sliding electrical contacts and provides two complementary analog output signals for redundancy and differential diagnostic options. It operates over a maximum angle of ±8° with a maximum error of 2%. Accuracy at 0° is better than 1%.
