Designed for the medical market, the REDEL disposable connector series promise quality while being economical enough to justify a single use. The connector design is backward compatible with the REDEL 1P and can be sterilized via EtO and gamma radiation. It features a simplified latching mechanism with stamped contacts. The contacts are initially soldered in place and then snapped in, allowing for easier termination with no need for cleaners. A removable snap-on back shell allows for quick correction of assembly errors and is said to be 100% scoop proof. The connectors come in blister packs and are available in four different key ways.
