System Combines Sensor And Indicator

A new system combines the company’s TRT low capacity, general purpose reaction torque sensor and its PHM-100 portable hand-held transducer indicator. The indicator has a peak hold feature that captures at less than 1 ms, and operates on a 9V battery for 60 hours. The TRT comes in a variety of ranges from 25 inch-lbs. to 500 inch-lbs. This system is suitable for a variety of industrial and OEM torque measurement applications. Accuracy is said to be consistent with highly accurate strain gauge-based load cells.
