A new, low-profile F crimp flag disconnect terminal has been designed to eliminate the need for heat shrinkable tubing and to protect the human hand. The terminal includes a fully insulated closed back and is made from UL 94V-0 rated fire retardant nylon. Touting its superiority to a crushed barrel crimp, the F crimp has no bent back strands. An open barrel ear section allows the wire to be crimped faster and easier. This terminal is designed to accept #18 to #14 AWG wire and mate with 0.187" to 0.250" male tabs. It measures 1.00"L x 0.48"W x 0.35"H and is 150°C rated. ETCO INC., Warwick, RI. (401) 467-2400.
