Capable of terminating copper conductors in a wide variety of connections, the HYLUG non-insulated compression terminal is manufactured from seamless, high-conductivity electrolytic copper tubing with a heavy-duty wall thickness. It promises maximum conductivity, low resistance, and ductility for a reliable combination of electrical and crimp-forming properties. The barrel diameter closely matches commercial (code) cable and Navy cable diameters. The terminal employs propriety brite finish and electro-tin plated terminals to ensure durable long-lasting corrosion resistance and eases cable insertion via an internally beveled barrel end. Each connector is marked with the wire size and type, die index, color coding, and the proper number/location of crimps. Additionally, the terminals are listed by UL (UL STD. 486A) and CSA certified to 600V, when applied with the proper tool and die combination, and are suitable for applications up to 35 kV.
