The new IPC36xx and IPV42 series intelligent power controllers provide individual on/off control of eight outlets. Power is controlled remotely via Ethernet (TCP/IP) or Serial (RS232) connections. The network interface can be accessed with a web browser, telnet client or with SNMP management software. System monitoring allows email notification of events or SNMP traps. User access can be limited to control specific outlets or groups. The IPC36xx is a stand-alone network appliance and does not require a master controller. This industrial grade, 19" rack-mounted unit is 1.75" in height, whereas the IPV42AB is a 42" tall, 2" x 2" vertical strip. Both the IPC3601 and IPV42AB are rated for 85V to 264V, 20A input, and feature eight IEC C13 computer style receptacles. Their counterparts, the IPC3602 and IPV42A1 are both rated for 120V, 20A input and feature eight NEMA 5-15R standard three-prong receptacles. Pricing for the rack mount version and the vertical strip are $599 and $799 each, respectively. PULIZZI ENGINEERING INC., Santa Ana, CA. (714) 540-4229.
