The newest member of the company’s MSM series, the M30 stainless steel switch mounts in a panel cutout of 30 mm, therefore affording a larger actuation area than any of its siblings. The series provides maximum switching power over a voltage range of 5 Vdc to 250 Vac and a current range of 0.1A to 10A. The switch’s large actuation area is ergonomically designed for a superb tactile feel, the company says. Actuation force is 4.5N. Contact travel is 1 mm with a fixed stop accompanied by an audible click. Switching action is single-pole, momentary with N.O. and N.C. contacts. Built for tough environments, the series carries a water-resistant rating of IP 67, making it suitable for use in equipment exposed to liquid spills, drips, leaks, or wash-downs. A shock resistant rating of IK 07 makes it useful in environments where the switch can be subject to heavy use or impact. Operating temperature ranges from –25°C to +85°C. A flat front construction of 1.7 mm in height provides a nearly flush mounting to the panel surface. For more information and pricing, contact SCHURTER INC., Santa Rosa, CA. (800) 848-2600.
