Meeting the deadline, the FJ series ultra-low profile, flat wireform jumpers are 100% RoHS-compliant. The jumpers require no insulation and are offered in standard EIA case sizes of 0805 and 1206. As a result of a unique design, they are said to be ideal alternatives to zero-ohm resistors. Boasting excellent stability and cleaning properties, they support high-volume placement equipment and solder reflow processes and are resistant to moisture and varied contaminants. The components are formed of #C110 copper flat-wire material and a 100% matte tin finish over a nickel under plate. Other features include an operating temperature range of -55ºC to +105ºC and a current rating of 2A. Price is $0.07 each/1,000. COMPONENTS CORP., Denville, NJ. (866) 426-6726.
