The newest member of the company's line of temperature-compensated, voltage-controlled crystal oscillators (TCVCXOs) is the RoHS-compliant T85B, which is designed for both wired and wireless communication products. These include cellular infrastructure, point-to-point radios, plus broadband access and test equipment. The component, residing in a ceramic 5 mm x 7mm surface-mount package, specifies a frequency stability of ±0.28 ppm over temperature, a ±4.6 ppm frequency stability over all conditions (20 years of aging), operating frequency range from 5 MHz to 52 MHz, and an operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C. Options include voltage-controlled frequency tuning, CMOS or clipped-sine-wave outputs, and 3.3V or 5V supply voltages. BLILEY TECHNOLOGIES INC., Erie, PA. (814) 838-3571.
