ActiveMetal debuts as a touch-sensitive switch series based on unique technology that eliminates the need for moving parts and, reportedly, infinitely extends component life. The switches offer virtually unlimited life and cannot be compromised by water, heat, chemicals, or even repeated blows from a heavy object. Featuring ActiveTouch technology, they are available in 19-mm, 22-mm, 30-mm, and 38-mm mounting diameters with a 316 stainless or Type II anodized clear, black, red, or green aluminum 6061 body finish with momentary or latching action. Custom labeling/legends on the actuator surface are also available. Other features include an operating temperature from -40°C to +85°C, and I/O configurations of 5 Vdc input/digital output, 5 Vdc input/open-collector output, and 10 to 24 Vdc input/open-collector output.
