Dubbed the market's smallest coaxial resonator oscillator (CRO), the model CVCO38CC-3660-3700 VCO embarks in a surface-mount package measuring 0.38" x 0.38" x 0.22", reporting a 42% space savings over standard 0.5" x 0.5" components. The oscillator operates from 3.66 GHz to 3.7 GHz with a tuning voltage range from 0.3 to 4.7 Vdc and features a typical phase noise of -108.69 dBc/Hz at a 10 kHz offset. Other specs include an output power of +4.0 dBm typical into a 50-Ohm load with a power supply of 5 Vdc and a typical current consumption of 30 mA. Pushing and Pulling are 1 MHz/V and 2.5 MHz, respectively, and second harmonic suppression is -15 dBc typical. Pricing starts at $15 each in volume. CRYSTEK CRYSTALS CORP., Fort Myers, FL.
