The PV6 series switch is vandal and water resistant (to IP-65 standards), and has multiple illumination options. Mechanical life is one million cycles min., and electrical life is 50,000 cycles. The contact rating is 2 A @ 48 VDC; the illumination base rating for red, yellow, and orange is 20 mA 1.8 V, and 20 mA 2.8 V for blue, green, and white. Contact resistance is 50 milliohms max, and insulation resistance is 1,000 megaohms min. The dielectric strength is 2,000 VAC over the operating temperature range of -20°C to +70°C. Applications for the PV6 series anti-vandal switch include elevators, public ticket dispensers, kiosk applications, and security panels. E-SWITCH INC., Minneapolis, MN. (800) 867-2717.
