With operation across a frequency range of 200 to 239 MHz, Crystek's CRBV55FL-0200-0239 RedBox voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) requires a control voltage range of 0.5 V to about 4.5 V. This VCO features a typical phase noise of -123 dBc/Hz at a 10-KHz offset and has excellent linearity. Output power is typically +9 dBm. The company’s RedBox line comprises VCOs enclosed in a robust aluminum enclosure (1.25 in. x 1.25 in. x 0.58 in.) with SMA connectors, enhancing the VCO’s durability and making integration of a VCO into any application an easy plug-and-play option. Model CRBV55FL-0200-0239 features an input voltage of 5 V, with a maximum current consumption of 25 mA. Pulling and pushing are minimized to 1.0 MHz and 1.0 MHz/V, respectively. Second harmonic suppression is -20 dBc typical. The CRBV55FL-0200-0239 RedBox VCO is suited for use in applications such as telecommunications, computers, radio equipment, base stations and other electronic applications. CRYSTEK CORP., Ft. Myers, FL. (800) 237-3061 or (239) 561-3311.
