The HSTA and HSTAR Series LVDT-based linear position sensors now offer both the environmental resistance and short stroke sensor body length for performing in cylinder applications where sensor length and survival are critical. Hermetically sealed, the 19-mm diameter, ac-operated sensors can survive in temperatures up to +200°C. Coil windings are sealed to IEC standard IP-68. Other features include axial (HSTA) or radial (HSTAR) connectors, ranges of ±1.25 mm to ±250 mm, high resolution, reliable repeatability, low hysteresis, and a maximum linearity error of ±0.25% of full-range output. Additionally, custom designs for higher temperatures and pressure resistance, smaller diameters, and connector options are available. MACRO SENSORS, Pennsauken, NJ. (856) 662-8000.
