The model 7268C miniature piezoresistive accelerometer provides high-reliability measurement of short duration shock across three axes and in three orthogonal directions.

The model 7268C miniature piezoresistive accelerometer provides high-reliability measurement of short duration shock across three axes and in three orthogonal directions. Residing in a package measuring 12.7 mm x 10.7 mm x 13.7 mm, the component is available in ranges of 500g to 5,000g with a 17-k Hz resonant frequency and 2,000g to 10,000g with a 26-k Hz resonant frequency. Sensor frequency response is 0 to 3 kHz on the Z-axis and 0 to 1.5 kHz on the X and Y axes. Other features include a combined non-linearity and hysteresis error of less than 1% FSO, mechanical stops for added ruggedness, and over-range protection.
