Embarking as an enhanced version, the company’s latest Type 32 enclosure integrates shielding and mounting functionality into the enclosure frame, saving assembly steps. The unit employs gasket spoons stamped into the aluminum along the frame to provide EMC shielding and the covers are folded in a rounded design that also helps contain EMI.  The unique design of the extrusions allows PCB or other component mounting directly. The Type 32 line of cases comes in 2U through 4U heights standard with various widths and depths plus customization is available. Other features include stylized rubber feet for desktop applications, optional carry handles, and other accessories. ELMA ELECTRONIC INC., Fremont, CA. (510) 656-3400.
