A coaxial-based VCO, the CVCO55CXT-6900-6900 coaxial resonator oscillator (CRO) with proprietary frequency doubler operates at 6.9 GHz with a tuning voltage range of 0.5 to 4.5 Vdc. Phase noise is -100 dBc/Hz at 10-kHz offset and output power is 2 dBm into a 50? load with a supply of 8 Vdc and a current consumption of 35 mA. Other features include a standard 0.5” x 0.5” package, pushing and pulling at 1.5 MHz/V and 0.5 MHz, respectively, and second harmonic suppression is -30 dBc. CRYSTEK CORP., Fort Myers, FL.
