Seismic Accelerometer Gets Ultra Sensitive

Sept. 15, 2010
The Wilcoxon Research Model 731A seismic accelerometer is designed for measuring both seismic and ultra-low level, low frequency vibrations.

The Wilcoxon Research Model 731A seismic accelerometer is designed for measuring both seismic and ultra-low level, low frequency vibrations. Specifying a noise performance of 0.5 μg rms and with a sensitivity of 10 V/g, the component relies on ultra low-noise electronics for clear signals at sub micro-g levels. Operating temperature range is -10°C to +65°C. Other features include an integral low-pass filter. MEGGITT SENSING SYSTEMS, San Juan Capistrano, CA. (949) 493-8181.
