Proximity Sensor Adds Touch Capability

For automotive passive-entry systems, the MAX1441 proximity/touch-sensor combo reduces system size and cost by at least 30% compared to similar devices. Features a power consumption of less than 100 mA at 14V, integrated power regulation, over-voltage and reverse-voltage protections, and spread-spectrum anti-jamming technology. Additionally, an embedded MAXQ microcontroller supports user-customized algorithms. The MAX1441 operates from a 5V to 28V supply and is available in a 20-pin TSSOP.
