TBUs Feature Broad Range Of Trigger Currents And Voltages

Sept. 23, 2010
Promising to simplify the circuit-protection design process, the TBU-CA Series next-gen transient blocking units (TBUs) protect a broad selection of industrial and telecom apps.

Promising to simplify the circuit-protection design process, the TBU-CA Series next-gen transient blocking units (TBUs) protect a broad selection of industrial and telecom apps.  The series offers ultra-fast over-current protection via a wide range of trigger currents and voltages plus reduced form factors. The components are electronic current limiters triggered by excessive voltage or current and are available in five impulse blocking voltages from 250V to 850V with minimum trip currents of 50 mA to 500 mA. Resistance values are as low as 3?.  As a pricing example, the TBU-CA085-500-WH is priced at $0.69 each/10,000. BOURNS INC., Riverside, CA. (951) 784-3100.
