Viable for a variety of automotive, aerospace, OEM, R&D, and general laboratory test apps, the Type 8315A single-axis MEMS capacitive accelerometer series employs the company’s K-Beam technology. The series offers six models with measurement ranges from ±2g to ±200g and a frequency response of 0 to 1 kHz (5%). Within a 25.4-mm footprint, the component integrates a MEMS variable capacitance sensing element. It is powered by a single supply between +6 and +50 Vdc and has an internal voltage regulator. The accelerometer is shock rated to 6 kg peak and specifies an operating temperature range from -55°C to +125°C. KISTLER INSTRUMENT CORP., Amherst, NY. (888) 547-8537.
