TO-8 VCO Seals Out The Elements

Nov. 16, 2010
The CVCOT8BE-2100-2200 (2,100 to 2,200 MHz) and CVCOT8BE-2400-2500 (2,400 to 2,500 MHz) voltage controlled oscillators (VCOs) come in rugged, hermetically sealed TO-8 packages.

The CVCOT8BE-2100-2200 (2,100 to 2,200 MHz) and CVCOT8BE-2400-2500 (2,400 to 2,500 MHz) voltage controlled oscillators (VCOs) come in rugged, hermetically sealed TO-8 packages. The metal-can construction features gold plated pins with no internal wire bonds for enhanced signal integrity. Both VCOs feature a typical phase noise of -101 dBc/Hz at a 10 kHz offset, a tuning sensitivity of 55 MHz/V, pulling and pushing to 11 MHz and 1 MHz/V, respectively, typical second harmonic suppression of -15 dBc, a control voltage range of 0.5V to 4.5V with an input voltage of 8V, maximum current consumption of 25 mA, and an output power of 0 dBm.
