A two-component epoxy, EP21AR can withstand acidic environments for long periods, i.e., immersion in 96% to 98% sulfuric acid and 36% hydrochloric acid for over a year. Features include a dielectric strength of 400 Volts/mil, a coefficient of thermal expansion of 45 to 55 ppm/°C, a serviceable temperature range from -60°F to +275°F, tensile strength over 10,000 psi, shear strength exceeding 2,700 psi, and a compressive strength greater than 14,000 psi at +75°F. EP21AR employs a two-to-one mix ratio by weight and a mixed viscosity of 10,000 to 15,000 cps. MASTER BOND INC., Hackensack, NJ. (201) 343-8983.
