The DSR5 series Hall effect sensors operate from a single supply voltage of +5V and include an external pin for access to an internal 2.5V reference. The pin is useable as an output or input signal for microcontrollers. The series handles nominal currents of 6A, 15A, 25A, and 50A and the multi-pin configuration allows for a different range of nominal currents by connecting one, two, or three pins in the primary winding. The output signal is centered at 2.5V with an output voltage of ±0.625V at nominal input current, however the design allows detecting currents up to three times nominal.
