The company’s latest cartridge filters promise to dramatically improve process performance and reduce the total cost of filtration apps in the manufacture of semiconductors, silicon wafers, and other microelectronics manufacturing processes. The components exploit Gore’s unique expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE) material and membrane technology. Offering up to three times the flow rate of best-in-class filters without sacrificing particle retention, the filters can upgrade retention performance and reduce particle counts while maintaining desired flow rate as well as enabling reduced processing times, higher flow rates, and faster bath turnovers.
