To lower phase noise, harmonics, and current, the CVCO55CXT-5800-5800 coaxial resonator oscillator (CRO) integrates a proprietary frequency doubler. Operating at 5,800 MHz with a tuning range of 0.5 to 4.5 Vdc, the CRO features a phase noise of -100 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset, an output power of 0.0 dBm into a 50? load with a supply of +8 Vdc, a current consumption of 15 mA, pushing and pulling to 1.5 MHz/V and 0.5 MHz, respectively, and a second harmonic suppression of -30 dBc.
