The ADMP504 MEMS microphone delivers twice the far-field sound capture capability of competing solutions and wideband frequency response for high-definition audio recording

The ADMP504 MEMS microphone delivers twice the far-field sound capture capability of competing solutions and wideband frequency response for high-definition audio recording. It delivers SNR of 65-dBA or 29-dBA EIN, the same SNR performance as an array of two individual 62-dB SNR microphones, and enables far-field audio-capture applications, as well as those using multi-microphone “beam-forming” algorithms. It also provides an extended frequency response up to 20 kHz and a high PSR of 70 dBV and meets the demands of many industrial, professional audio and video conferencing applications. The microphone features low current consumption of less than180 μA typical with a power supply voltage of 1.6 V to 3.3 V. It is available in a thin 3.35-mm × 2.50-mm × 0.88-mm surface-mount LGA package. It is sampling now at a price of $1.85 each in 1,000-unit lots.
